Columbia Tree & Lawn Service

Absolutely Love this Team! We've been using Columbia Tree & Lawn for over a decade at both our old and new home, and we don't trust anyone else. Their #1 goal is to *not* kill good trees. They take great care with pruning and trimming (they don't just "top off" trees like a lot of places, which inevitably kills the whole tree). And the real kicker is when they trimmed up a tall tree for us, they did so in a way that if it ever did fall, it would fall in a specific place. Sure enough, a few years later during a tornado the tree fell over, and it landed exactly where they intended it to, avoiding all the houses and cars. So yeah, they remain my go-to tree service.

First and foremost, communication was great, and this is the key to getting things done right. Second, the job was planned out in advance by a live specialist. The crew who did the work were remarkably professional, personable, and very quiet. The job looks exactly as described in the plan, and all is well. Other than some unavoidable delays due to weather and mechanical failure, neither of which can be predicted, this went without a hitch. A very happy experience!

What do you do when a tree comes down and bamboo is spreading thru your yard? My neighbor and I called on Columbia Tree and Lawn Service. My neighbor had done the research and found that this was the only nearby bamboo removal service that customers said that the bamboo did not return. See the picture of the mess we had. When we received the estimated cost it seemed to be a lot. But they were to dig up every bamboo root and follow and remove every ryzone. It took them 3 weeks to do our and neighbor's yard. Filled a 30 yard huge dump container with tree, root, bamboo and debris. Workers named Brian and Minor were here every non rainy day. They were so courteous and attentive to detail, working in the sweltering heat. They kept us informed of the progress and plans for the next couple of days. Once complete they smoothed out the yard and planted grass. Look at my yard now! Clear and growing green!

We used Chuck and his team for bamboo removal in our backyard, along with taking multiple trees down and ripping up flower beds around our house. We bought a house without knowing how invasive bamboo really is and we were so glad when we found Chuck. He talked us through how his team would remove the bamboo and we felt more at ease. Now we have a beautiful backyard thanks to Chuck, Brian, and co.

Hello, this is my second time using Columbia Tree & Lawn Service and all I can say is WOW! First, I’d like to thank Chuck for the expert advice he gave me on how to tackle our large backyard project. He was very direct and honest about what needed to be done and what to prioritize. The first time they removed 3 problem trees in no time flat and they did this while I was at work. I came home to find a clean yard minus the 3 headaches I had. As of today, they are tackling a huge project consisting of over 5 enormous trees. I am having fun watching the speed and organization of the crew. Its hot and they are more than a third of the way through. Chuck these guys have more than earned whatever they stand to get paid, and I will definitely see you and the guys again soon to continue the next portion of our project. Lisa, you know I’m not going to leave you out of this. Folks, this lady made sure that we were able to budget properly, she offered payment plans that were actually doable! Thank you for that. Taking down large trees is an awfully expensive endeavor for most people and she made it realistic for us. Now for the part you all want to know, Yes, they are very affordable, and thei
